11 Pier Place, Edinburgh

11 Pier Place is a house built around 1870, featuring two stories and three bays, and is attached to a church. The facade is rendered and whitewashed, while the rear and side elevations are made of rubble sandstone. The building lacks a base, string course, or blocking course. It has original Tudor-arched openings, with painted rectangular surrounds added in the 20th century.

On the north elevation facing Pier Place, the entrance is located to the left of the center, featuring a boarded timber door with a 2-pane fanlight above set in a Tudor arch. There are single windows on the ground floor in the central and outer right bays, both adorned with decorative iron guards from the 20th century. The first floor has single windows in all bays, also with Tudor arches and painted surrounds.

All openings contain 8-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate in diminishing courses, and there is a harled and limewashed apex stack on the east side.
