Description
1-2 Airlie Place is a four-storey flatted block built around 1883-1884, featuring an ashlar front. The building includes front garden areas and a variety of window styles, including bipartite rectangular bays and canted bays. The ground floor has a bipartite rectangular bay with doors positioned between the windows. The ground floor openings are margined, and there is a cornice and blocking course with an iron balcony above the ground floor bay at the first-floor level. The first-floor openings are architraved with cornices and moulded architraves, while the second-floor has plain architraves and corbelled cills. The third floor features a main cornice, and the building is topped with a slate roof.
