Description
65 and 67 Rose Street in Edinburgh is a tenement building constructed around 1780. It is an irregular three-storey and attic structure with three bays, situated on a corner site. The exterior features coursed rubble, with the ground floor rendered and partly used for commercial purposes. A modern full-width box dormer is present, along with a return gable that includes a common stair door and windows at the center. The rear elevation is also made of rubble.
The building has timber windows, including 12-pane sash and case windows on the first floor and tilt and turn windows on the second floor. The skews are coped with ashlar, and there is a corniced rendered stack. The roof is covered with grey slates. The interior was not seen in 1995.
