Description

Duddingston House, designed by Sir William Chambers in 1760 and built between 1763 and 1768, is a two-storey building featuring a five-window main front. It has a fluted tetrastyle Corinthian portico and four-window flanks, topped with a balustrade. The interior showcases fine quality work, including a large stair hall with branching flights. The offices consist of a two-storey pedimented centre with a cupola, linked to two-storey advance wings and a corridor that connects to the main house.
