Description

Thomas Bonnar, 1825-1827. 2-storey with basement and attic, 18-bay terrace of 6 classical 3-bay houses. Sandstone ashlar with channelled rustication at ground. Base course, cill band course, cornice and blocking course with eaves band, decorative window guard balconies to 1st floor, ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: timber panelled doors with rectangular fanlights to entrances in recessed panels to 3rd bay and every 3rd bay thereafter, windows in recesses to remaining bays, regular fenestration above, full-width dormers to Nos 69 and 73, pairs of dormers to remaining.

Timber sash and case windows with predominantly plate glass glazing, some 12-pane glazing, grey slates, stacks with terracotta cans, fleur-de-lys headed cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
