Description
9 Lochend Road is a mid-19th century, two-storey, two-bay terraced house situated over a basement. The building is constructed from droved ashlar sandstone, featuring polished ashlar dressings on the front. It has an eaves cornice and a blocking course, along with painted projecting window sills.
On the southwest, or principal elevation, there is an entrance door located in the right bay. This door is framed by a painted doorpiece with pilasters and an entablature, topped with a rectangular plate glass fanlight. The facade is regularly fenestrated.
