Description

97 Buccleuch Street is a four-storey, six-bay tenement block built around 1840, with possible later alterations. The ground floor features a stugged finish and a keyblocked Venetian doorpiece that reflects 18th century design. There are belt and cill courses on the first floor, with rubble above. The building has a slated roof and retains its original sash windows. As of 2015, the ground floor units numbered 93 and 95 are in use as a public house.
