Description
76 Constitution Street is a two-storey, six-bay tenement building constructed in the later 19th century. It features a cream sandstone facade with droved ashlar front, including a base course, a band course above the ground floor, a band cill course at the first floor, and an eaves band course.
On the southwest (front) elevation, there are doorways in the central bays, each with panelled doors and plate glass fanlights. The outer bays and the first floor display regular fenestration. The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass glazing.
The building has a slate roof, complete with mutual and ridge stacks, and a moulded eaves gutter. The interior was not seen in 1993.
