Description

Harrison Road Bridge is a single-span plate girder canal bridge built around 1885 over the Union Canal in Edinburgh. It features a panelled cast-iron parapet with panelled iron dividing piers. The soffit consists of four brick arches supported by wrought-iron tie rods. The abutments are made of squared and snecked sandstone rubble, topped with an ashlar band course and coping.
