Description

Tankard's Bridge is a canal bridge built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a cast iron balustrade. The bridge has a humpbacked design with a central round-arched opening. It has a low parapet with rounded coping and splayed ends that terminate in round capped piers, which are topped by the low cast-iron balustrade.
