Description

The Prince of Wales Graving Docks, located at Leith Docks in Edinburgh, were designed by engineers A M Rendel and G Robertson and constructed between 1858 and 1863. This graving dock is built of ashlar and measures approximately 382 feet in length. The eastern end is curved and partially covered with concrete. The quayside features setted and flagged surfaces, along with remnants of machinery, although the dock is now flooded and disused.
