Description
Alexandra Dry Dock, located at Leith Docks in Edinburgh, was designed by Peter Whyte, a consultant engineer, and constructed between 1891 and 1896. This graving dock is built from ashlar stone and measures approximately 284 feet by 70 feet. It features a curved eastern end and a narrow western end, which has steps on either side. There is also a timber flood gate with a bridge spanning over it.
