Description

Late 18th century; mid 19th century alterations and additions. Former classical 3-storey corner tenement, with later top storey and built out shops to ground and 1st floor. 5 bays to Princes Street, 4 bays to Hanover Street. Droved cream sandstone with ashlar dressings. Modern shopfront at ground with canted corner; fully glazed timber shop window above with similar canted corner, and egg and dart cornice. Original 2nd floor windows with later lugged architraves, outer windows with corbelled arched cornices with acroteria. 3rd floor with cill course and architraved windows, decorated to outer bays. Bracketed cornice; balustraded parapet.

Timber sash and case windows to upper floors; mostly plate glass. Piended roof, grey slates; corniced ashlar wallhead stack with consoles, to Hanover Street.

INTERIOR: modernised and adapted for retail use.
