Description

This is a rectangular cast-iron police call box designed by E.J. MacRae, built between 1930 and 1931. It features classical details and is painted blue. The long sides have two bays with pilasters, while the shorter sides have single bays topped with open pediments that contain ribboned wreath paterae. There is a plaque with the city arms on the door, and all elevations have a saltire glazing pattern. The call box has a low-pitched roof.
