Description

  1. 3-storey with basement and attic, 7-bay, palace-fronted classical tenement. Sandstone ashlar with rustication at ground; rock faced basement; corniced impost and course to centre bays at ground floor, band course between ground and 1st floors, cill band at 1st and 2nd floors, moulded architraves and cornices to 1st floor bays, eaves cornice, blocking course, slightly advanced, 3-bay pedimented bays to centre with oculus in tympanum, ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3 timber panelled doors in round-arched entrances to centre, windows to outer bays with small window to left of centre bays, regular fenestration above, 2 canted tripartite and small box dormer above.

Timber sash and case with 12-pane and plate glass glazing, wallhead and ridge stacks with terracotta cans, skews, cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
