Description

Gyle House, located at 1 North Gyle Farm Court in Edinburgh, dates from around 1820 and is a 2-storey, 3-bay house that originally served as the farmhouse for North Gyle Farm. The exterior is constructed from pinned whin rubble with droved quoins and dressings. It features a 6-panel door topped with a simple rectangular fanlight and has a 12-pane glazing pattern. The house has end stacks and a piended slate roof.

To the east, there is a rear wing that is likely a 2-bay single-storey extension built in the mid-19th century, around 1920, using matching stone. Additionally, there is a modern bathroom block at the rear and a lean-to conservatory attached to the west wall.
