Description
150 Rose Street South Lane in Edinburgh is a building dating from around 1790, with later alterations. It is a three-storey and attic structure featuring a three-bay corner design with a bar on the ground floor. The exterior is made of coursed rubble. On the ground level, there is a central door flanked by large altered windows and a modern fascia. The return gable has two bays that are displaced to the outer flanks, along with an additional bay that contains a door and common stair windows on the far right. There is also a broad single bay wing that adjoins with a nepus gable.
The rear of the building has a three-bay gable with glazed oculi at the center. The windows are timber sash and case with 12 panes. The building features ashlar coped skews, rendered stacks, and grey slate roofing. The interior was not seen in 1995.
