Description

The Greyfriars Bobby Fountain, located on George IV Bridge in Edinburgh, was designed by William Brodie and completed in 1873. It features a life-size bronze statue of a terrier, which stands on a cylindrical plinth made of red granite. At the base, there is an octagonal basin, and above it, a higher circular basin. The fountain also includes bronze plaques with inscriptions.
