Moorpark, Brooks Road, Cardross

Moorpark is a late 19th century building that has undergone renovations in the early 20th century. It is an L-plan, single-storey former coach house. The outbuilding is constructed of red sandstone rubble, while the domestic range is cement rendered.

The southeast range features a gable at the outer right, a boarded door at the centre, and a boarded hoist door above. There is also a lean-to boarded bay to the outer left.

The northeast range includes an early 20th century domestic range to the left, with a shallow gable to the left and a lean-to single-storey wing at the outer left. It has a half-pied dormer-headed window at the centre, with a window below, and a lean-to shelter with a galvanised roof to the outer right.

The building has multipaned timber casement windows, a grey slate roof with crenellated red ridge tiles, and coped rendered stacks.

The boundary wall and gatepiers consist of a high dry-dash crenellated wall that steps down to a lower rubble wall with semicircular red sandstone coping. The circular piers are harled and topped with orb finials.
