Description

Moore's Bridge, located on Main Road in Cardross, features a datestone from 1688 but was reconstructed in the late 19th century. The bridge has a rubble parapet topped with ashlar slab coping, with a clairvoyee at the center that rises to terminal piers. An armorial plaque and the 1688 datestone are found in the pier to the right, while the pier to the left bears the inscription, "Not we but God Jean Watson." Decorative cast-iron railings are situated at the center of the bridge.
