Description

Hamilton Park Terrace is a mid-19th century, three-storey, five-bay traditional symmetrical T-plan tenement. It features a plain chimney gable that centers the principal northern elevation. The walls are made of roughly coursed rubble, which is painted and rendered on the northern elevation. The building has ashlar margins, dressed quoins on the northern elevation only, and a droved base course.

On the northern elevation facing Nursery Lane, the windows are regularly spaced. The outer bays have bipartite windows, while the entrance door is located in the center bay on the ground floor. There is a blind window on the first floor and no window on the second floor. The ground and first floors have surviving four-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is grey slated, with cast-iron gutters and downpipes, and flanking the northern gable are hoppers. The substantial coped gablehead stacks have circular cans, and there are no skew copes.

Additionally, there is a brick wash house in the garden at the rear. It has a grey-slated piended roof, a single flue brick stack with a can, and boarded doors.
