Colonsay Inn is an 18th-century traditional building that stands two storeys high. It features harled walls and gabled roofs, with slate covering. The structure includes gabled projecting bays at both the front and rear. There have been some additions to the building, but the interior retains its original layout, with some rooms showcasing tongued-and-grooved panelling.
