Hall, Killean

Hall, Killean, was built around 1895 by JJ Burnet. It is a single-storey building with five bays, featuring cream sandstone ashlar dressing and carefully arranged random schist rubble, along with rounded corners and prominent eaves.

On the west elevation, there are three tall windows on the right side, with eight-pane upper sashes and twelve-pane lower sashes that are regularly spaced. To the left, there is a catslide roof over a low porch, which includes a glazed corner screen and a canted bay window with multipane casement glazing.

The south elevation has a plain bargeboard and a jettied canted bay window at the upper level. The south-facing part of the bay window has tripartite, eighteen-pane windows, with the center opening being casement. Above this window, a section of the eaves is advanced, and there is half-timbering in the gable, topped with a terra-cotta finial. A chimney stack is located on the cross wall towards the north end, featuring a prominent cope and extended in concrete.

The roof is covered with rosemary tiles. The interior and rear elevation have not been seen.
