Description
Killean and Kilchenzie Parish Church, built in 1787, is a Georgian-style oblong structure with a harled exterior and a piended slated roof. It features round-headed windows and a pedimented projection on the east side, which includes a pilastered and pedimented doorway flanked by round-headed niches.
Inside the belfry, there is a coombed ceiling and three lofts supported by wooden columns. A mural tablet from 1818 commemorates Colonel Norman MacAlister of Clachaig, who was the Governor of Prince Edward Island.
