7, 9, 11 Kirk Street, Campbeltown

7, 9, 11 Kirk Street in Campbeltown is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay tenement building with a rectangular plan and a rectangular stair tower that projects to the rear. The walls are made of roughcast random rubble, with some lime harling still visible on the northwest elevation, and feature polished ashlar dressings. The building has a base course and an eaves cornice that conceals the gutter, along with raised margins around the openings and projecting cills at the windows.

On the southwest elevation facing Kirk Street, the upper floors have regular fenestration. There are paired entrance doors to the left of the first bay and a single entrance door located between the centre and right bays. The ground floor windows are slightly offset from the bays above.

The northeast rear elevation features the projecting rectangular stair tower, which provides access to stone balconies supported by cast-iron columns and equipped with metal handrails. The eaves course is also present here.

The building has 12-pane timber sash and case windows on both the front and rear elevations, along with vertically-boarded timber doors on the first floor of the rear elevation. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a continuous pitch over the stair tower. The Kirk Street elevation includes a cast-iron gutter with a decorative urn hopper, while the rear elevation has cast-iron gutters and downpipes. The roughcast multi-flue stacks, which have circular cans, are margined at the right and centre and built up in brick with a concrete coping at the right.
