Description

The Walled Garden at Duntrune House dates from around 1826, though it may be older. It features a rectangular plan and is constructed of rubble masonry, which is rendered on the inside and has flat and rounded coping. The north wall has an outside projection that suggests bee-holes on the inside, while the northwest angle is rounded and includes a new opening to a modern house built within the garden. The east wall has an opening leading to Duntrune House and a ruinous pyramidal pavilion at the southern angle. There is also a low wall with rubble coping at the south.
