Description
Dryburn is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay farmhouse featuring a modern porch. The exterior is harled with painted stone margins.
On the northwest elevation, there is a small lean-to porch at the center, with windows in the flanking bays and regular window placement near the eaves on the first floor. To the outer left, there is a lean-to outbuilding with a small window.
The southwest elevation has a window on each floor at the outer left.
The southeast elevation includes a single-storey lean-to porch at the center, with a window in the bay to the right, a small stair window at the center, and another window off-center to the right on the first floor. There is also a small traditional rooflight to the right of center.
The farmhouse features modern uPVC glazing that is non-traditional and out of character. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped brick stacks with thackstanes and cans.
The boundary walls are low, coped, and constructed of drystone.
