Description
The City Road Bar, located at 26 City Road in Brechin, is a late 18th century building that stands two stories tall with an attic. The exterior is harled and whitewashed, featuring painted margins. The front has three windows, with doors located centrally and to the right. There is a wallhead chimney gable and two later canted dormers facing City Road. The west gable includes two ground floor windows and one first floor window. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with additional structures. The roof is slated, characterized by straight skews and moulded skewputts. The windows have been reglazed.
