Description

Early 19th century. Symmetrical 3-storey and attic ashlar

with raised quoins at angles and at High Street centre bay,

rusticated ground floor with original shop openings.

5-window front to High Street, 3 to City Road (dummies left

and centre at upper levels). Central Doric column doorpiece

High Street. 1st floor windows architraved and corniced,

architraves only at 2nd. Main cornice and blocking course.

Pedimented central wallhead gable with arched attic light to

High Street. Piended slated roof, ashlar wallhead stack to

City Road.
