Description
25 Church Street in Brechin is a building dating from around 1840. It features an ashlar front and is a single-storey structure with a basement and an attic. The front has three windows and an anta doorpiece situated between the first and second windows. There is a small piended dormer set into the east end of the slated roof. The two-storey south (rear) elevation includes a three-light semi-circular bow with a raised blocking course between the first and second of three additional windows, which are currently blocked and reglazed. The wall is made of 19th-century stugged rubble with ashlar slab coping, standing over two meters high. There are two doors—one panelled and one boarded—along with a garage door that opens onto Church Lane.
