Description

23 Church Street in Brechin is a building dating from around 1800. It features a plain ashlar façade with two storeys and three windows, including one chimney on the first floor. The entrance is located at the west end beneath a blind window. The building has an L-plan layout and is situated at the corner of Church Lane. At the rear, there is a two-storey and basement section with two windows, and the roof is slated.

The wall is from the 19th century, constructed of stugged rubble with ashlar slab coping, standing approximately 2.5 meters high. Access to the building is via a six-panelled door that is reached by two steps leading up to Church Lane.
