Description

The rail bridge at East Kinpurnie, built around 1868, is a single-span structure with a segmental arch and a skew plan. It carries the former Dundee and Newtyle Railway over a road. The bridge features curved wing walls made of bull-faced aquared rubble, with rusticated ashlar voussoirs and intrados. It also has a smooth ashlar impost, along with a parapet base and coping.
