Description

The Millhole Road Bridge, built between 1867 and 1868 by contractors Grainger and Grainger of Edinburgh, is a road viaduct featuring three round arches that span a deep cutting of the former Dundee and Newtyle Railway. The bridge is constructed from bull-faced squared rubble, with rusticated ashlar voussoirs and intrados. It has a smooth ashlar base and coping for the parapet, along with battered abutments.
