Description

The Old Lodge and Gate Piers at Brechin Castle is a symmetrical single-storey structure made of ashlar stone, combining Gothic and Classical architectural styles. It features central gate piers and side arches, with flanking lodges that have round-headed windows set in arches. The building is adorned with a corbel table and a crenellated parapet, and it has curved flank walls with railings, dating from around 1806.
