Description
21 Castle Street in Brechin is a pair of single-storey and basement buildings dating from around 1800. They are constructed of ashlar stone with cherry cocking. Each building features two windows and a doorpiece with a cavetto splay, topped by a segment-headed arcaded fanlight. The building at number 23 has a canted dormer addition. The roofs are slated, with straight skews that have moulded ends and a moulded eaves course. The basement windows have been partly built up and partly modernised.
