Description
9 Castle Street in Brechin is a building dating from around 1800. It is a two-storey structure made of coursed rubble, which has been extensively patched, featuring three windows, with the central window serving as a stair window. The building has broad gable ends and a central wallhead gable that includes a small blind semi-circular opening. The roof is gabled and slated, with one stack that has been rebuilt in brick. To the right, there is a snecked rubble garden wall that includes a boarded door with a half relieving arch above it. On the left side, there is a panelled door with a lintel in the wall, and a small front garden that has diagonal gatepiers.
