Description
The building to the rear of Clydesdale Bank at 2, 4, and 6 Panmure Street in Brechin features a front dating from around 1900 and a rear that dates to the mid-19th century. It is a single-storey structure with a three-bay ashlar front, characterized by channelled pilasters and architraves. The central bay contains a door that is recessed between Corinthian columns, topped with a balustrade featuring ball finials and a 'CB' panel above. The outer bays have two architraved and corniced bipartite windows. There is a blocking course above the windows and a low roof. At the back, the building has a two-storey and attic section with a central gablet.
