Description
2-3A St James Place in Brechin is an early 19th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed of rubble with margins. The building is two stories high and features a three-window front, with two shops on the ground floor; the left-hand shop has been modernised.
There is a central shaped wallhead chimney stack, which is partly made of brick, and a single window on the west gable. At the rear, there is a two-story and basement wing with two windows. The roof is slated, with straight skews and small end stacks that have been rebuilt in brick. The windows have been reglazed.
