Description
Dated 1780, with a parapet raised in the 1980s, this is a two-arch road bridge spanning Dronley Burn. The bridge is constructed of stugged snecked rubble with stugged voussoirs, the pointing being harl. It features segmental arches.
The north elevation displays a cutwater on the central pier, with a datestone positioned above it. Anchor plates are located over the arches, and substantial buttresses were added later to the left and right sides. The south elevation mirrors this with a cutwater on the central pier, anchor plates over the arches, and a later buttress on the left.
Recent repointing work has been carried out in a crude style. The bridge is situated on Dronley Road.
