Description

Western House, located at 76 Castle Street in Forfar, dates from around 1800. This three-storey building features a basement and has three windows on its façade. It is constructed from coursed rubble and is adorned with a mutulated cornice and a cill course at the first floor. The entrance includes an architraved doorpiece with a cill course and a cavetto splay. At the back of the building, there is a staircase bow. The property is also complemented by gatepiers.
