Description

Fornethy School is a large mansion house built in the style of the 16th century. It features a castellated design and is constructed with harled walls and a slate roof, which has crowstepped gables. The building includes two and three storeys, and it was altered in 1915 with stonework added. The architects responsible for this design were Fryers and Ponman from Largs.
