Hillside House is a two-storey mansion built in the 18th century. It features a symmetrical design with harled walls and a slate roof, along with ashlar dressings. The building has crow-stepped gables and a pilastered porch. Inside, there are panelled rooms. The house has been altered over time and includes large Victorian additions.
