Description

Cortachy Castle is a large mansion house with a castellated design, featuring three storeys, towers, and turrets. The south wing dates back to the 16th century and earlier. The building underwent additions in 1820 and 1872, designed by architect David Bryce, with some parts removed in 1948. It has historic associations and is set in a picturesque location.
