Description

The churchyard walls of Cortachy Parish Church are an average of 6 feet high and made of rubble. They feature a pointed arch door leading to the Castle. The walls are supported by square ashlar piers that have battlemented caps, along with decorative cast iron gates. These elements date back to around 1828 and earlier. The site is notable for its well-carved gravestones and picturesque setting.
