Description
These are 18th-century farm houses, largely reconstructed in the 19th century, situated on a corner site in Fettercairn. The north-west elevation has three windows, while the south-east elevation has four, with a section of blind windows on the left. A prominent feature is the wide, architraved doorpieces flanked by inset pilasters, each topped with a long, rectangular fanlight. The windows are 12-pane sashes. The houses have a slated roof with straight skews, the angle being piended, and brick-built stacks, largely rebuilt. Attached are single-storey farm buildings, also rubble-built and with piended slated roofs. The cartsheds have timber lintels, and a forestair with a timber rail provides access.
