Description

Morris's Hotel, located in Market Square, Oldmeldrum, opened in 1673 and was originally a coffee house. The building is two stories high with an attic and features two windows. It has a gable facing the square with chamfered openings and skewputts. There is a late tripartite doorpiece and canted dormers, although the building has an unfortunate modern dry dash harl. Additionally, the space between the inn and the outbuilding has been recently infilled.
