Description
The Mill of Forresterhill is a fine tall L-plan mill, partly dating from an early period and raised in the early 19th century. It is constructed of pinned boulder rubble and features an outside overshot cast iron frame wheel measuring 12 feet by 3 feet 6 inches. There is also a brick kiln, with the kiln floor dating from 1927. The mid-19th century workings are intact but are currently not in use.
