Description
41 Bridge Street in Banff is a building from the later 18th century, consisting of two separate structures, each two storeys tall. One structure has two bays, while the other has three bays. The ground floor is completely filled with glazed shop fronts. The exterior is harled, and the first floor features regular fenestration with 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows, although the three-bay range now has plate glass in the lower sashes. The three-bay range has a slated roof, while the two-bay range has a corrugated asbestos roof.
Inside, as observed in 2008, the interior has been altered and is currently used as a storeroom, with seating removed. There is a simple gently curved ceiling that was part of the former auditorium.
