Description

The Ivy Bridge over the River Ythan, located west-northwest of Fyvie Castle, was built shortly after 1816. It is a single segmental arch bridge constructed of small rubble with ashlar voussoirs. William Gordon's records, referring to improvements made after he succeeded to the estate in 1816, mention bridges across the Ythan.
