Description
The Garden House and Terrace Stairs at Ellon Castle date back to 1715. Originally built as a three-storey structure with three windows, it was later reduced to two storeys. In 1851, James Matthews added a neo-Tudor parapet and stairs. The building features pinned rubble with channel-pilastered angles and an architraved doorpiece that has a pulvinated frieze.
